PFA corrugated tubing is a flexible fluoropolymer tube designed for fluid-transfer systems that require both high chemical resistance and improved bending performance.

Compared with standard straight PFA tubing, the corrugated structure provides greater flexibility and makes installation easier in compact equipment, movable connections and piping layouts with limited space. It can also help accommodate slight movement, vibration and alignment differences between connected components.

3. Is the inside of the tubing smooth?

It depends on the product design. Some corrugated tubing has corresponding internal corrugations, while other constructions may provide a smoother inner flow path. The required bore structure should be confirmed before quotation.

4. Can the tubing be supplied with smooth ends?

Yes. Corrugated PFA tubing can be manufactured with smooth end sections to facilitate flare, compression, welded or customized connections.

5. What lengths are available?

The listed standard length is 2400 mm. Custom lengths may be available depending on the tube diameter, tooling, production process and order quantity.

6. What is the working temperature of PFA corrugated tubing?

The allowable working temperature depends on the PFA grade, tube geometry, operating pressure, transported medium and connection method. Please provide the continuous and maximum temperature during the RFQ stage.

7. What is the pressure rating?

The pressure rating must be confirmed according to the exact tube size, wall thickness, corrugation design and temperature. Corrugated tubing generally should not be assigned the same pressure rating as an equivalent straight tube without testing.

8. Can PFA corrugated tubing be used under vacuum?

Certain designs may be suitable for vacuum service, but resistance to collapse depends on the diameter, wall thickness, corrugation structure, temperature and required vacuum level. Please provide the target vacuum conditions.

9. Can custom corrugation profiles be produced?

Yes. Corrugation pitch, depth, flexible length, smooth-end dimensions and overall tube size can be reviewed according to the drawing, sample and required order quantity.
