Perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA) is a premium melt-processable copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and high-performance fluorinated monomers. It combines the exceptional chemical resistance and non-stick properties of PTFE with the versatility of conventional injection molding and extrusion methods.

 

Key Material Benefits

  • Extreme Thermal Stability: Features a high melting point of 307 ± 5°C and a maximum continuous use temperature of 250°C.

  • Superior Chemical Resistance: Maintains integrity when exposed to aggressive chemicals, making it ideal for the chemical processing industry.

  • Excellent Electrical Insulation: Offers a high volume resistance of > 10¹⁸ Ω·cm and a low relative dielectric constant of 2.1.

  • Mechanical Durability: Provides a tensile strength of ≥ 15 MPa and hardness of Shore 60.

  • Low Friction: Features a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.3, ensuring smooth performance in fluid handling.
