High-Performance FHF Sinterable Insulation Film – Built for Extreme Electrical Reliability
Designed for next-generation motor and magnet-wire insulation, our Double-Sided FEP Coated Polyimide Film (FHF) delivers 165 MPa tensile strength, 86% elongation, and a 7.8 N/25mm heat-fusion bond, forming a seamless oil-proof, waterproof, and chemical-resistant insulation layer after sintering.
Structure: FEP / Polyimide / FEP
Performance: Exceeds JB/T 2226-96 by 34%+
Application: Class H/C motor insulation, magnet wire sintering, deep-well pump motors
Product Overview
The FHF & FH Series FEP Coated Polyimide Film, manufactured by Shenzhen Teflon New Material Technology Co., Ltd, is a premium high-temperature, high-dielectric insulation composite engineered for the most demanding electrical applications.
By laminating chemically inert FEP resin onto high-performance Polyimide (PI) film, this composite provides:
High mechanical strength
Excellent dielectric stability
Heat-bonding capability
Exceptional resistance against oil, moisture, solvents, and corona discharge
This makes it the preferred insulation material for submersible motors, traction motors, inverter-duty motors, aerospace wiring, and high-reliability magnet wire production.
Your latest testing data significantly outperforms standard market PI+FEP films. Below:
Measured Tensile Strength:165 MPa
106% higher than standard requirements (≥80 MPa)
This extreme strength resists tearing during high-speed wrapping, dramatically reducing:
Film breakage
Machine downtime
Material waste
Especially crucial for magnet-wire sintering and motor slot insulation.
Elongation at Break:86%
→ Absorbs mechanical shock without stress fractures
Ensures smooth operation even under:
Tight wrapping angles
High-tension winding
Fast lamination cycles
Thanks to uniform FEP coating, the material achieves:
Peel Strength:7.8 N/25mm (above 6.0 standard)
When heated, FEP resin melts and fully fuses, creating:
Waterproof insulation
Oil-resistant wrap
Chemical-proof barrier
Hermetic (zero-leak) bond layer
Ideal for deep-well pump motors, where insulation must survive hot oil, moisture and pressure.
Dielectric Strength:168 MV/m
→ 34% higher than standard requirement
Allows:
Thinner insulation structures
Higher power density
Better reliability in HV windings
Suitable for Class H / Class C insulation systems.
At 200°C,Film shows:
Volume Resistivity:1.4 × 10¹⁴ Ω·m
(Industry standard ≥ 1.0 × 10¹³)
This ensures:
Lower leakage current
Better thermal endurance
Stable insulation life under extreme heat
PI film coated with FEP on both sides
Best adhesion, best electrical stability
Ideal for magnet wire and slot liner insulation
Cost-effective option
Suitable for lamination / composite build-ups
